“Only as high as I reach can I grow,
Only as far as I seek can I go,
Only as deep as I look can I see,
Only as much as I dream can I be.”
~Karen Ravin
In preparation for 12-21-12, please answer the following questions:
1. Are you reaching as far as you can for the things you want in your life?
There should be nothing on your “unwilling to do” list. As Mary Kay
Ash once said, “If you shoot for the moon and don’t make it, you will fall
among the stars!”
2. Are your dreams big? Or do you only dream of what you are sure you can achieve?
Dreaming is a muscle just like your bicep. The more you use it, the bigger
it gets. Don’t be afraid to dream big…what if dreaming big is the exact
state of mind it takes to make that dream come true?
3. Are you seeing everything in your life, even those things you consider “not so pleasant” about yourself?
In order to heal it, you have to feel it. And in order to feel it, you have to
be willing to see it. Growth takes depth…look into your life, not just at it.
12-21-12 is not about the end of the world…it is about the end of life as you know it. Those energies that kept fear, evil and darkness alive will be no more. Light now rules the house! Friday is simply one piece of a major shift that has been happening for the last several years. We were created to not just live our life, but to create it. And if you don’t mind me saying, most humans on Mother Earth have created a mess…not just for themselves but for those whose lives they touch as well. Mother Earth will now intervene. She needs to come back to a state of balance in order to support the new way of the light. If you have been living your life honestly, openly and with integrity…you are on the right track. If those three words do not describe how you have chose to live your life so far, you are in for a ride…A ride of your own creation.
Always remember…God does not do anything to you or allow things to happen. The world is about balance. We make a choice; send that choice out into the world and the world responds. Many of our choices over the last several decades have been fueled by individualism, hate, greed and fear. Some souls choose to sacrifice their life this time around to help restore that balance and to teach those of us left much needed lessons. Do not grieve your loss…celebrate their victory! They are true angels walking the earth.
Take time before Friday to reflect on your life and your choices thus far. As the cliché goes…Go to the light!!!
Shining brightly,
Chris

Ch..Ch..Ch..Ch..Change??The word will either send shivers down your spine or get your adrenaline rushing to the point you can’t sit still. Change. It is the only constant we have in life yet it sometimes gives us that feeling we get when we are sitting in the front seat of a roller coaster just before it is ready to take off.
For the first half of 2012 for many, many people, change has been an understatement. Lives are shifting and making room for new and wonderful things to enter that have to do with the path you are going to follow from here on out…but in order for that to happen, things have to change…the old has to be cleared out to make room for the new to enter. I know in my life in particular just in the last six months I have seen: a sudden, very painful break-up of a relationship, a dramatic shift in my business; a loss of 20 pounds (Thank God!); my youngest daughter graduating from high school; my oldest daughter announcing she is pregnant (yes, I will be a 42-year-old grandmother in January!) and countless synchronistic events that have helped me make the decision to move my entire life 3000 miles west to Scottsdale, Arizona (and that’s not even all of it!).
I have always been intrigued by the deeper meaning of things, especially numbers. I could not help but notice that in my new address in AZ there are five 5’s between my street address and my zip code! So, I looked up the meaning of 5, 55 and 555 (I would have gone further but the book only went to 1,000). Here is what I found:
5 = A significant change is occurring, always for the better. It is a good idea to call upon Heaven for help with life changes.
55 = This is a period of “out with the old, in with the new.” Welcome these changes, as they bring about new blessings.
555 = Huge changes are rumbling about your entire life! To keep these changes on the highest possible course, be sure to keep your thoughts positive, and stay centered in prayer and affirmations.
Releasing the old and getting ready for change, whether big or small can be scary. We are familiar with the old; we know how to navigate it; we know how it feels and we can predict it pretty clearly. New stuff? Not so much.
Dealing with change and “the new” takes courage, stamina, a positive frame of mind and trust. Yes, trust in the Divine but more importantly, trust in YOU! Trust is not easy. It is one of those things that we are asked to do and at first as we do it we feel as if we are walking in the dark with no light in sight. But when we can turn that trust inwards and learn to trust ourselves, it is amazing how it isn’t as scary. You see, when we put our trust in anything or anyone other than ourselves and the Divine, it WILL be scary. It is an unknown based on how someone else thinks, how they feel and the mode in which they operate. But trust in the Divine is simple…it consists solely of what I like to call “open heart living.” Trusting those inner nudges you feel inside, acting on them and having pure faith that the plan of the Divine is at work in your heart guiding you every step of the way. It is a team effort between you and God.
As you go about your day today, pay attention to those inner nudges you feel. They may come across as a random thought, a strong feeling to do or not to do something or it may even be a dream you had last night that you can’t seem to get out of your head. These are all ways the Divine speaks to you and helps guide you along your path. Trust what comes through and whether it makes logical sense or not (the most Divine guidance usually makes NO logical sense what so ever…how else would they keep you praying!) take some small action toward your guidance. Make a change in how you do one thing today! When I give keynotes on change, I have the audience take off a piece of jewelry they have on their finger or wrist and ask them to put it on the other hand just for the day. Weird sensation but it gives them the practice of living in the feeling of change.
Have fun with it, know you are safe and don’t be afraid to ask for help. You are surrounded by more help than you know. Just because you cannot physically see “them” does not mean they don’t exist. Trust me… 😉
Living in the Unknown,
Chris

The Garden
“There once was a woman who longed to have a flower garden. Each year she would visit her neighbor, who had the most beautiful garden she had ever seen, and he would give her cuttings and seeds for her own garden.
But when she would return home, she would change her mind at the last minute saying, “But my neighbor’s garden is so much lovelier than anything I could hope to grow. And he knows so much more about gardening…I could never hope to grow a garden half so lovely as that. Why should I even try?
One day her neighbor stopped by her home and saw that she had not one flower growing anywhere around her house.
“I’ve provided you with so much,” he said, “and yet you have done nothing at all with what I have given you!”
And so it is with each of us. The Lord gives us talents and expects us to develop them. We cannot judge our worth by comparing ourselves to others, but must bloom and grow the best we can with what we have been given.
May each new day that dawns for you be an opportunity to use the gifts that God has given to you to be the best that you can be!”
This is an excerpt from a card I found in an old box that a friend had given to me back in 1988 (yes, I am dating myself!). I couldn’t help but think about how many blessings I have in my life and how my life would be so very different if I did not acknowledge the beautiful gifts and people that have come into my life up until now. So many times we have “angels” come into our lives and we pass them by; so many times we have prayers answered and just because they are not in the form we expected them to be in we ignore them and say “God is not listening to me!”; so many times we make assumptions about what others think and let those “supposed thoughts” drive our actions, leaving behind opportunities; so many times our song goes unsung because we were afraid it wasn’t “good enough.” We leave our gifts unwrapped and get to the end of our life wondering what was REALLY inside that box we refer to as our “potential.”
Give yourself a gift today and let go of the old image of who you are and create a new one. Allow yourself for once to be YOU…the REAL you!!! Abandon the fears and take a step in the direction of the life you are meant to live. Unwrap your gifts and show the world what you’ve got!!!
An angel in disguise,
Chris
