Assessments

Assessments are valuable tools used by coaches and consultants that aid in understanding the strengths, behaviors, preferences, values, motivators, and decision-making patterns of individuals and organizations.

Assessments tap into what the client “does not know that they do not know.” In other words, assessments are valuable only as much as they can contribute information beyond what the client may already know about him or herself.

People are remarkably good at predicting their own behavior, but these self-predictions may not always be accurate. Assessments help individuals gain unique knowledge beyond what they may think they already know about their own behavior and responses to situations.

Dr. Chris offers valid and reliable assessment choices to her coaching and consulting clients. Each assessment is chosen for the specific needs of the individual or organization, and the information gathered from each assessment is used to create a plan of action.

All assessments are administered only after scheduling a one on one session with Dr. Chris to identify which assessment best suits your needs. A 90-minute debrief session is included with the cost of the assessment.

All the assessments below can be debriefed individually or as part of a half-day or full-day workshop.

Assessments.

360 Assessments

360-degree feedback is a method used to systematically collect information and opinions about an individual’s performance from their peers, direct reports, boss, supervisors, and people outside of the organization (customers, vendors, etc.)

Emotional Intelligence – EQ 360:

The EQ360 assessment provides an in-depth analysis of an individual’s emotional intelligence by comparing their self-assessment scores (using the EQ-i 2.0) with the ratings received by those with whom they work on a day to day basis.

CCL Benchmarks 360:

The Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) is a global leadership development and research organization with a mission to advance the understanding, practice and development of leadership for the benefit of society worldwide.  Their suite of 360 assessments are customized for Executives, Managers, or to measure an individual’s learning agility.

Birkman Signature Profile

The Birkman Signature Profile is an advanced behavior report that helps individuals increase emotional intelligence, amplify growth, and strengthen performance. What makes the Birkman unique is its focus on strengths, blind spots, and stress behaviors. This profile can be used in any level of an organization to empower performance and enhance behaviors.

Emotional Intelligence (EQi 2.0)

Emotional intelligence is a set of emotional and social skills that influence the way we perceive and express ourselves, develop and maintain social relationships, cope with challenges, and use the emotional information we receive from others.

 

The EQ-I 2.0 measures the impact a person’s emotional intelligence has in the workplace.  Based on a model that includes five composite areas (Self-Perception, Self-Expression, Interpersonal, Decision Making, and Stress Management) and 15 subscales, the EQ-I 2.0 is a proven key indicator in human performance and development potential.

 

The EQ-i 2.0 can also be administered to individuals on an in-tact team and those scores can be aggregated into a group report to show the teams strengths and areas of improvement.

Workplace Big 5

Based on the Five-Factor Model of Personality used by psychologists, the WorkPlace Big Five is a personality assessment used to improve productivity and self-awareness.  The assessment will reveal an individual’s 5 personality super traits and 23 sub traits in relation to their work-related behaviors and encounters with peers, associates, and managers.

 

This assessment is best used with intact teams.

DISC Index

The DISC Index is the most contemporary interpretation of Dr. William Marston’s groundbreaking work into understanding and measuring a person’s natural behavioral style.
